It was great to be back at the Walcha Show this year. Our team attended the Walcha Show on 10 and 11 March, where we hosted an information booth to inform visitors about our wind farm project and answer questions.  We were also pleased to once again sponsor the wood chopping competition and the cattle dog challenge!

We spoke with many members of the community who stopped by to learn more about the project and read information presented on poster boards about the project layout, the expected timeline of the project, jobs and skills the project will provide and the proposed WinterbourneWind Community Benefit Fund.  We received some good ideas about how the Community Benefit Fund could be used in the local area. 

We distributed handouts such as FAQ booklets to help visitors learn more about our project. We also provided lots of free goodies and organised a free raffle for the local children.

We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth and expressed interest in our project. All feedback from the community is valued by us – we are currently considering all feedback received from submissions during the exhibition of the Environmental Impact Statement.
