WinterbourneWind once again joined the Walcha Community to enjoy the Walcha Show this past weekend.  We were proud to sponsor the Wood Chop competition again this year, and it was great to support such a talented, skilled, and incredibly strong bunch of competitors. 

We had an information booth and were very happy to see so much community support for the project and enthusiasm for renewable energy across people both young and old.  We had maps and photomontages on display and we were grateful that so many people stopped by for a chat to learn more about the proposed project. 

We also enjoyed sharing a few Vestas hats, kites, and paper turbines, and we were very pleased to give away a special Lego wind turbine set to our raffle winner and junior woodchopper, 9-year old Tommy Gill from Glen Innes!
