We have lodged a development application for the proposed Winterbourne Wind Farm project with the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (DPE). The application and the accompanying Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) are on public exhibition until Thursday 15 December 2022. 

The EIS can be viewed on the NSW planning portal or on the Winterbourne Wind Farm website.

We have also made hard copies of the EIS available at the Walcha Library and Uralla Library. 

We will host two information sessions for the community on December 2nd (12-4pm) and December 3rd (10am-2pm) at the Walcha Bowling Club.  Please stop by to learn more about the proposed project and the findings of the EIS.

During the exhibition period, any member of the community can make a submission about the proposal.  Instructions for making a submission are provided on the Department’s website.

After the exhibition period, we will prepare a formal response to issues raised in the submissions, which will be made available on the Department’s planning portal.
