WinterbourneWind’s Amendment Report was recently publicly exhibited. The report laid out the improvements to the proposed wind farm since the original EIS, based on further design and assessment and after engagement with the community, landholders and Councils to harness local knowledge.

There were 394 individual and local organisation submissions (excluding duplicates), as well as submissions from local councils and government agencies. The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive, with 70% of public submissions indicating support for the proposed project.

Key improvements included a change in the transport route to use Thunderbolts Way, an on-site quarry to reduce traffic, and shifting some turbines and tracks to reduce impacts to the environment and improve constructability.
